River Valley Ag Exchange LLC

Meet the Davis’s!  We are a family that doesn’t sit still long.  Derek is a 5th generation farmer who has a passion for agriculture, helping others, and preserving the land.  He along with his bride, Lyndsey, and their two children operate Legacy Ridge Farms in addition to River Valley Ag Exchange.  Legacy Ridge Farms is a row-crop operation which grows specialty crops such as food grade yellow, blue, and white corn, high protein soybeans, milo and soybean seed.  Derek and Lyndsey enjoy spending time outdoors with their family and friends, and helping their children pursue their dreams and passions. Their children, Gentrie (17) and Gage (16), have a passion for agriculture.  They are both involved in their local FFA chapter where they both hold officer positions. Gentrie also holds an office at the area level. Gentrie and Gage both have horses and are competitive in the arena. They show ranch versatility and have won national, regional, & state titles. Gentrie owns and operates her own grain milling and baking business called GMae’s Baking & Milling.  She uses grain off the farm or purchased from RVAE to mill into flour, corn meal, and grits.  Gage owns and operates AgDash where he makes wildlife feeds such as wild bird feed and deer mineral and offers delivery to his customers.  Gage also grew his own whole ear corn this year for critter corn and harvested it with his own one-row picker.  If you can’t find the Davis family at the elevator, it’s safe to say they are in the fields, in the barn or on the road.
